PatagonBird is a New York-based family-run company. We started this business in 1998 with a commitment to help indigenous people from Argentina, not by way of charity but helping them find new markets for their beautiful craft. We strongly believe in the dignity of work and we are proud to say that we are now working with large communities of indians in the Northwest of Argentina, such as the Wichi people from Mision Chaqueña, Salta, and the Chiriguano indians from Salta and Formosa provinces.
The wooden crafts are mainly sold through this website, and during the Holidays, at the Union Square Holiday Market in Manhattan.
If this were not enough, the rest of the year we work in our own crafts --the Mobiles. Before coming to this country, it was more of a hobby and less of a business. But as soon as we started selling them in craft shows, people in the streets started calling them Amazing Mobiles, and the word stayed. And because it's enough of a headache to run a single business, we combined all our activities under the same umbrella -PatagonBird. So if you purchase a mobile, expect to receive a package from the company with the weird name!

Return policy: AMAZING MOBILES: Our mobiles are painstakingly handcrafted and carefully checked before wrapping. It is our wish that you will enjoy them for years to come. However, you may return an item unopened for full refund or replacement within 15 days of purchase. All returns, including repairs, require pre-authorization. Purchase receipt is necessary for refund. To avoid tangling, follow hanging instructions. Repairs will be considered within one year of purchase, providing the mobile is intact (no parts torn down). A repair fee may apply. Please treat mobile carefully, don't cut strings; if tangled, don't make it worse. Tell us exactly what happened. If you send it for repair, wrap it carefully; don't bend it. If it was purchased from a retailer, the retail shop may contact us at its discretion. We cannot repair mobiles that have been battered, torn down, tangled beyond repair, or visibly treated with neglect. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless mobile was defective due to our mistake.
WOODEN CRAFTS: You may return an item for refund or replacement within 30 days of the shipment date. Items purchased by auction are not refundable. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice and reason for return. You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost of misdirected returns.
